The country name lookup tool (CNLT) has been designed to help quickly establish the language or languages the user speaks. Showing the complete lists enables the user to indicate the country in which they originate and the quick links to the various tools and guides.

 

Gayther is an online service home to one of the world’s largest collections of current and relevant LGBTQIA+ information. Though the service was built in English, many tools, services and guides have been designed to support and aid conversations. These offer users different ways to communicate in other languages, especially during difficult situations or when needing help. We have created the country lookup to aid users in finding the right services and languages quickly.

HOW TO USE

The country lookup tool has been designed to show country names in their local languages. The lookup tool is helpful when communicating with someone where you cannot establish the language or languages they speak. They can use the dropdown bars at the top of the page, the interactive map, or any individual country entries arranged by continent and sub-region. Once the country name has been found, you can select that country in any of the online tools available on Gayther.
