Brunei Darussalam is part of the South-eastern Asia region in the continent of Asia. The name Brunei Darussalam is believed to have derived from the Arabic meaning abode of peace. It is in the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn, near the equator and is 5.8 thousand square kilometres in size. The primary languages spoken are Malay and English; the capital city is Bandar Seri Begawan, and the main currency used is the Brunei Dollar.
